Mr. Daeyun Shin, a Ph.D. student at UC-Irvine, visited our lab and gave his research overview talk on 3D reconstruction. We then retreated to the nearby, Eoeun park to enjoy the mums festival.

Dr. Peng Du visited our lab and gave a talk. He was a post. doc. in our lab, and is now an associate professor at Hangzhou Dianzi Univ.

Prof. Yoon pulled out the first edition of his book on Rendering. This book is freely available on the internet. This book will be used as a reference book for some of his rendering lectures.

Prof. Yoon was promoted to ACM senior member, June, 2018. He is also IEEE senior member since 2012.

Our lab attended KCGS 2018, held at Yeosu (여수). Mincheol and Inkyu presented their work at the conf. too.

Dr. Duksu Kim, a Ph.D. graduate at 2014, joined KOREATEC as an assistant professor. 우리 전산학부 출신 김덕수 박사(2010학번 지도교수: 윤성의)가 올 해 한국기술교육대 (KOREATEC) 에 조교수로 임용되었습니다. 김덕수 박사는 윤성의 교수 연구실에서 CPU 및 GPU 모두를 활용하는 이종병렬기술을 연구하였고, 졸업후 KISTI에 연구원으로 재직하던 중에 학계로 자리를 옮기게 되었습니다. 조교수 임용을 축하드립니다.
