Work-in-progress co-chair at PG19
Prof. Yoon served as a co-chair for a novel program of PG 19, work-in-progress, accommodating on-going works with interesting results, yet not ready for the formal publication. To promote this program, Prof. Yoon invited many researchers for the session, and it turned very well.

Dr. Yuchi gave an invited talk on his recent work in the Work-in-progress session. The talk is about his recent ToG paper.
The PG 19 was held in Seoul, Korea.
Quick retreat to a nice restaurant
We had a quick lunch retreat to a nearby restaurant out of the city.
We chose a Beijing roasted duck restaurant to celebrate a recent achievement of our post. doc., who is from China.

Prof. Hong (홍승훈) joined our school of KAIST, and visited our lab for giving a talk on his recent research.
Drone project
Some of our students have been working on a drone project, which is rather difficult.
We wish to wrap it up well and recall this later as a good memory.

Retreat from KCC 19, Jeju
Our lab tried an adventure of trying out surfing at Jeju, as a retreat from KCC 19.

CS580, Computer Graphics, 2019
We had final project presentations for CS580 today.
Students were very active and delivered high-quality projects in this semester. As a professor, I was very happy to see those talks. Thanks!
DongHyuk’s Ph.D. Defense Talk
DongHyuk Kim defended well for his Ph.D. degree. His work is on designing hybrid techniques out of sampling and optimization based path planning techniques.
