Taeyeon presented her work “MorphGS: Morphology-Adaptive Articulated 3D Motion Transfer from Videos” at ECCV 2026.
MorphGS formulates motion retargeting from monocular video as a target-driven analysis-by-synthesis problem, directly optimizing the target character’s morphology and pose rather than reconstructing the source in 3D. It combines a rig-coupled morphology parameterization with dense 2D–3D correspondences and synthesized-view supervision to handle substantial morphology differences between source and target characters.
